New Meditation Walk: Ritthem Circular (Zeeland).

Join me for this easy 14,5 km circular walk from Ritthem around Fort Rammekens.

About my guided walking meditations around Zeeland.

A typical Forest Bathing session does not have a goal or a point A – B in mind. Therefore this is not really a typical Forest Bathing session that follows all the rules. However, you do get all the benefits (and more) during the meditation, breaks, and hike.

Surrounding yourself in the atmosphere of nature can do the following:

  • Reduce stress, anxiety, or feelings of depression/burnout.
  • Regulate emotional mood.
  • Improve Mental health.
  • Reflect on life, and gain new clarity on your goals, vision, purpose, or mission in life.
  • Feel connected to nature and something greater than yourself.
  • Become mindful, and be more present.
  • Feel more grounded and connected within your physical body.
  • Improve physical well-being and become fit.
  • Improve your immune system.
  • Socialize, network, and make new friends with like-minded people.
  • A community of trust where you can share and grow together.
  • Get in touch with your Spiritual Body and expand your consciousness.
  • Receive spiritual healing during the meditation.

About the meditation walk; Ritthem & Fort Rammekens.

Experience this loop-shaped route of 14.5 km near Ritthem, Zeeland. Generally considered a fairly challenging route and takes an average of 2h 54min to complete. This route is great for birdwatching, hiking, and walking, and you probably won’t meet many other people during your exploration.

Nicely varied tour through the countryside around the village of Ritthem. You leave the village along the canals through the countryside. The canal takes you to the coasts of the Western Scheldt, where you cross the dikes for a bit. The route continues to the Rammekenshoek, a nature reserve filled with history. Here you walk around the 16th-century Fort Rammekens and visit the remains of Fort Zoutkamp. The forts are surrounded by woods and water. You follow the river out of the forest and back to the village.
