Where Does Self Doubt Come From?
Let’s say that your heart is guiding you into some new, fresh, exciting and that you feel passionate about. You could do this just for the joy of doing the thing. But because you are not familiar that yet much with this new journey your mind start to kick in. Your Ego Mind or you so called “Lower Self” has his job to keep you safe and secure. In your mind you have all these things that potentially could go wrong and ripped you out of your comfort-zone. Bye bye safety and security!
This is how your mind creates Self Doubt and it’s avoiding you from moving towards your dream, goals and desires.
Tip Number One; Create The Courage To Do The Things That Will Move You Toward Your Dreams, Goals and Desires, Why?
In the beginning it all seems to be a battle uphill with absolute no peaceful end in sight. So you ask yourself all the time; why I am doing this if I can’t see any form of result or sign that I am on the right path, right? In that case you need to shift your focus a bit from chasing down external things of approval, recognition, fame and success to your “feeling state.”
Here is what I mean with that; how do you feel when you do the things that gives you joy, bliss and happiness? Does it give you a sense of satisfaction, accomplishment and fulfillment? If so then forget about all these other external things and focus on the things that are important to you like how does it make you feel? Even though when it all doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for the rational mind but it feel right then continue to follow the path of doing things that feel right.
Tip Number 2 On How To Stop Doubting Yourself; Take a Step Back In Order To Step Up!
We are all very attached to the stories we are telling to ourselves. Specially the stories of Self Doubt. It’s all part of our Lower Self which we should accept as it is. Take a step back in order to step back is related to the practice of Mindfulness and Meditation. Through Mindfulness you can become aware of the thoughts and emotions that are going on in you and choose the one you want to let go of and the ones that serve you. Always ask yourself the question; “What Was I Thinking That Created This In The First Place“?
Meditation is really the practice of tuning into your Higher Self. It’s where you can take the seat of the helicopter pilot and reflect for a moment. See your Self Doubt as a little thought form as something we all have as human beings. See it as a little cloud that comes in front of your light so now and then but there always will be light. Don’t judge it, just accept it in the way it is. Accept, embrace and welcome it. Doing so will give you back the power over your self doubt so your self doubt doesn’t control you.
Tip Number Three; Practice Conscious Engineering As a Way To Stop Doubting Yourself.
Conscious Engineering, what the heck? Let’s say that we can re-engineer specific kind of thought patterns. You see tip number 1 can work very well but it require a bit of a very bold and relentless attitude, a fighter or warriors spirit. It requires that you sometimes need to force yourself into action. Go and Freaking DO IT despite how you feel is something you hear all the time in motivation videos. And yeah in some way that can work, but some people are just way more sensitive and require a bit more of gentle touch. This gentle touch is what I would like to call; Re-engineer your thought patterns and here is why.
You see all your thoughts, emotions, feelings and believe vibrate at a certain type of frequency. For example; shame, guilt and fear a very low vibrating emotions. Through the Law of Attraction you activate the Law of Attraction and therefore keep attracting the same things over and over again. You could change your thoughts so you can change your frequency which unfortunately we don’t always seems to have control over. Or you change the Frequency over your State of Being and THEN produce better thoughts, feelings and emotions!
