Where Do I Belong In This World
Many Highly Sensitive People Or Empaths struggle with the feeling of not knowing where they belong in this world. Or perhaps it’s even a feeling of unsafety, unsecurity and not feeling grounded. You’re not alone!
As High Sensitives we look around and we see a harsh world of duality and separation. A world where there is conflict, pain and suffering. A world that lives in the illusion of separation from Self, isolation, manipulation, intimidation, power, control and domination. Of course we feel we don’t belong in that world so here is what you can do about it.
Find Out Where You Belong In This World:
When I was a teenager and in my early 20th I thought I was doing very well in this world. I worked hard, made some money and bought nice things. Until I started to realize something was still missing. That feeling of loneliness, isolation and separation was the beginning of my spiritual journey. The journey of connection and developing self love.
That journey led me on a path of increasing my sensitivity. And while my sensitivity was increasing I started to ask myself all sorts of questions. I also started to doubt myself. Questions and doubts like; where do I belong in this world, what is my place in this world, who I am really, what are my values, what is my worth, do I even matter? The things I was so used to like work and career wise suddenly started to make no more sense. These feelings of depression, loneliness and isolation made me really wonder.
I moved from a part-time car-cleaning business to a full-time corporate job in the shipping industry, then I started a online business in the home based business industry, made some money and still felt no difference. Still felt empty, lonely and disconnected. My longing to a answer still remained.
Where Do I Belong In This World?
What we are longing for is again a connection with our heart. Or make a balance/harmony between the mind and heart. We want to find our way back home. Home is where the heart is at is like navigating your way back home. Or remembering your True Self.
You see we got exposed to a world that is stuck in the illusion of duality, separation, isolation, competition, manipulation, intimidation, inequality etc. So when you are that sensitive and you feel something is off and you can’t or don’t want to belong in that world then I can actually say; congratulations! You are not here to fit into that old world because you are here to create a new one!
Your work will evolve around creating a world of unconditional love. This is our natural state of being and this is what makes most sense to you. This is what our world needs. Your “job” will all about remembering the world about this Truth.
This could have all sorts of forms. Maybe you feel drawned to become a artist and inspire millions with your work, a healer, coach, counselor, therapist, holistic health entrepreneur or any other kind of business. You are here to give and to be of service.
What you need to do first before you can step into your role as a “Change-Maker.”
When you are currently feeling a bit lost and you wonder where exactly you belong in this world then this is what to expect. This will be a journey of finding out who you are. Actually I would like to say it will be a journey of “remembering your true self.” Develop your values, your worth, your visions, what you stand for, your believes and of course your passions and purpose in life.
Once you have fully aligned yourself with that and integrated the new you then you will get some ideas on what you want to bring out to the world. Ideas that can lift up peoples live and society into a higher vibrational state of being. The post does make a lot of sense. Thank you. I’ve been feeling similar to what is described in this post.
What would you say to someone who feels like they can’t truly connect with anyone in this world even though they do feel connected to themselves? They feel like they’re too different to be understood or to even have a nice time with another person
What do you think is stopping you from connecting with another person?
