How To Be More More Creative
How To Be More More Creative And Ground Your Creativity As an Intuitive Sensitive…
As creative (intuitive) entrepreneurs we know deep down there that there is a better way of living. A more holistic way of living, working on our own in freedom and independence. Not having to wake up to an alarm clock or being told what to do, how to do it, and when to do it.
Just before the pandemic, I had a very flexible part-time job that allowed me to travel around the UK. The money wasn’t that great but it gave me a lot of time to live with my own creative ideas and imagination.
During the lockdown, traveling wasn’t allowed so I was stuck at home. Even Queen Victoria got depressed in her palace back in the day so I think everybody would eventually get depressed when in social isolation.
I was slipping down a negative spiral of negative thinking. My emotional mood got only worse and worse and I feel I didn’t have any reason to get out of my bed in the morning.
After 4 months of job hunting, I found a job in the automotive industry. Something I got experience with from the early days.
In the first few weeks, it all sounded very promising based on their personality tests and whatnot. Their intention was to take me on a journey into management which did indeed sounds all exciting to me.
2 to 3 months later and reality really started to drag me down. The daily grind of starting at 8 am and working until 6 pm. Constantly being bombarded with annoying inquiries we had to deal with on the customer service. Eventually, I really started to feel drained and I started to feel very stuck, frustrated, and agitated.
I just knew I had to do something different…
So that’s why I left.
I left because I really had to get back to expressing my own creative ideas. My ideas could do so much better to the lives of others that I felt I was wasting my precious time and energy. That’s why I have created this community for other like-minded creative entrepreneurs who want or are building a business in the holistic health industry.
Of course, now I have to deal with another kind of pressure. The pressure to perform, or else…
Anyway, in my next video, I continue to share my thoughts on how to actually ground your creativity as an intuitive sensitive.
So what exactly do I mean by grounding your creativity?
I am very much like a visionary kind of person. Always having plenty of ideas and strategic solutions. However, I struggle with grounding these ideas and execute them. I could spend days if not months with procrastination looking up to the mountain of work and daily tasks that need to be done.
Personally, I would prefer to have people around me who enjoy getting things done so I can focus on coming up with new creative ideas and strategies.
Also for the last several years, I have been half-assing as well with my content creation and YouTube channel. Knowing deep down I should focus more on the marketing and business aspect of everything so I can do more of that what satisfies me, but I was just minding the creativity of creating and uploading videos.
When you are also a content creator I think it becomes even more important to build an infrastructure to syndicate your content across multiple channels.
In this way, your message actually gets seen and received by people. You can attract an audience, build new relationships and offer various solutions to this audience so you can make a living. Not just getting by but actually live the life of your dreams.
Perhaps moving closer to nature or traveling around as a digital nomad. This is exactly what I mean by grounding your creativity.
